Fighting Germs

I had indicated I would try to test whether masks cause us to increase our CO2 intake so here are my results and thoughts. I noticed when I am wearing a mask, I am re-breathing some of my exhaled air, simply by the fact that inhaled air in a mask is hotter than fresh air without a mask. When a person breathes in air it is roughly 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen and 0.04% CO2. We exhale  a mixture of compounds which is roughly 78 percent nitrogen, 16 percent oxygen, 0.09 percent ar ...
NeoPixel based face mask. (Image credit: splat238)   I think we all thought about this, in some way or another. A user on instructables.com has posted detailed instructions for your own DIY LED face mask, which both animates with randomly chosen color and manages to act as any other cloth mask—keeping you and others safe. The ...

Posted by dennisy Jun 1, 2020
Hi All, Here is my project; Autonomous floor disinfector in the house which can wake you up by ramming into your bedroom door. It's been a bit rough since the restrictions of UVC LED components has been enforced by most of the countries. So for the time being, I may end up using UVA or UVB LEDs, but hey, since they are swappable, I will just keep punching through. Below I shared a work in progress from my Kicad, I recently learned how to use it thanks to Shawn from Digikey for the lovely video t ...
