I've just started my pi for the first time.  All SEEMS well, and leads to "raspberrypi login", to which I answer "pi",  then "Password", to which I answer "suse" (as instructed in the manual).  Response is "Incorrect login".  What do I do now?  I had downloaded DEBIAN on my PC and ported it to 4GbSD card, as instructed.  Then, to make use of the whole of the SD card, I shifted the workspace up and expanded the Debian area up as far as possible.   Both leds res ...

Pi will not boot up.

I turned on my unit just now for the first time and I can not get it to work. I have 4.8 volts on the unit and the red led is lit. The green led does NOT flash. I am using an SD card from Wal Mart. I downloaded Debian. The SD card shows it has two files on it. One large and one small. Any help would be appreciated. jimmy ...
