This is my submission for the Double Your Memory Pi Challenge.   http://youtu.be/vd6RlkAXWRs   Google Talk/Chat/Messenger is normally used by humans to interact with other humans. However, its underlying technology can also be used as a mechanism to implement software robots.  Internet bots, also known as web robots, WWW robots or simply 'bots' can also utilize the technology to perform automated functions over the web.  There are many such bots in existence, offering a div ...
I hope I'm not too late to the Double your Memory party.   My next project is going to be an automatically reloading dice tower. The Pi will handle the reloading of the tower and, here's where that 512 will come in hand, capturing an image of the rolled dice and processing that image to count the sides. I'll be using OpenCV and python to acomplish this. A histogram will be presented to the user and will be activly updated as the test is allowed to run long enough to determine the balance o ...
(I'm duplicating what I wrote in my own project area just incase this is the right way to enter the contest. If it's not please feel free to delete this blog entry.) Raspberry Pi, the famously cheap computer designed for teaching programming to kids inspired by the same sources that inspired another project of mine, Cymon’s Games. An ARM GNU/Linux box for $25! Only it’s not really $25 and you didn’t believe that it was, did you? First of all that figure is outdated (they should ...

My idea for the "Double Your Memory Pi Challenge".   Rasperri Pi is a well designed board which can be used to learn and discover many things in the electronics and programming world.  It is cheap enough to be a good starting point for everybody  who want to learn and to do experience without investing big amount of money. Furthermore you are not alone during your experiments due to the huge worldwide community which support you with tips, suggestions and tutorials. You can find ...
Trying to get your hands on the ever so elusive Raspberry Pi may be a frustrating experience for some. However, the lucky ones who have accomplished that task have been eagerly creating their own gizmos and showing the rest of the world what can be done with the little device. Nathan Morgan took his Raspberry Pi and rigged up a portable, miniature computer. In addition, he decided to make the whole project open source and has readily made available a list of all the parts needed along wi ...
Entery for the "Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB challenge"!   Hello everyone,   First i want to wish Happy new year to everyone!! I want to use the Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB as an image processing device. The device take a certain number of photos of an object, then from these photos a 3D sketch is made of the object. After a 3D sketch is made of the object  the Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB make an excate 3D duplicate of the object using a 3D printer. This device will let you save ti ...
uXeBoy is a custom printed circuit board which draws its main design elements from two distinct sources, creating something greater than the sum of its parts:   1. uXeBoy takes its shape and size from the front 'daughterboard' of the original GameBoy, which means it can be easily installed in a GameBoy shell as a direct substitute – it is directly compatible with the already existing parts for the plastic buttons / rubber contact pads, and lines up perfectly with all of the mou ...
