Somethings just go together. Sonny and Cher, Tom and Jerry, Jelly and Icecream. So naturally I was stoked to see Youtube user Lilhazzie had mashed up a Raspberry Pi and BMO from Adventure Time... Complete with SNES controllers and a working emulator for a bunch of cool handhelds.       Adventure Time Image via http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/adventure%20time%20bmo ...

Yesterday we unveiled the world's biggest Raspberry Pi. Actually, it was a cake version of the single board computer to celebrate its forthcoming 1st birthday, which was presented to the foundation at the Embedded World conference in Nuremberg (It's here in case you missed it).   Today we thought you might be interested to see how the cake was constructed.  Martin Rößler and his team at http://cafebeer.de/ were asked to build a metre long version of the Raspberry Pi, keepin ...
In a few days we celebrate the 1st birthday of the Raspberry Pi and to kick off the celebrations, we presented Pete Lomas (of the Raspberry Pi Foundation) and Andrew Robinson (creator of the PiFace) with this Giant CAKE at the Embedded World conference, as well as presenting them with the element 14 community award for most innovative product! Hey all,   I am quite new to the Raspberry Pi world but very interested. I have done a few basic things on the Raspberry Pi so far, the main one was learning to code in python (as I already know C) and learning to use a linux based system (first time!).   So far I own a 256Mb Raspberry Pi model B, 512Mb Raspberry Pi model B and a Gertboard.   The main project I will be working on involves:      -Determining the image processing capabilities of the Raspberr ...
Want to build this project? View Parts   During the last embedded systems meetup at my hackerspace in Chicago, Pumping Station: One, we did hands-on activity where we went through a couple of Adafruit's wonderful tutorials.  First, we learned how to read a photoresistor without an ADC using Adafruit's Basic Resistor Sensor Reading on Raspberry Pi.  Next, we hooked up typical 5V hobby servo motor to the Pi per Adafruit's Raspberry Pi Lesson 8. Using a Servo Motor (written by e ...
