I work in a hardware startup "Modulowo" and I would like to propose a new, universal connector for development kits - Modulowo® duoNECT™. The connector provides the basic interfaces like UART, I2C, SPI, 1-Wire, a few I/O pins and ID (Identification) pin. The advantage of our connectors is possible to mount by traditional pin 2.54 mm or directly on the base plate thanks to castellated holes. Our solution is not only duoNECT™ connector, but also add-on modules - Explore™ boa ...

MAGPI Magazine review.

Posted by DAB Top Member Aug 16, 2015
Hi all,   I recently received a MAGPI magazine to review.   I would say that anyone dealing with a RPi should frequent the site for back issues and to see each new issue as they become available.   If you like getting the paper copy, I would spend the money to subscribe.   What I found inside this issue and the back issues is a nice array of projects for people to consider doing with their own RPI.   The projects range from beginner to expert, so you can grow into t ...
OK, so continuing  the series on PI 2 with windows 10 for IoT, I have now added to the previous app and created a demo app for a pair of Sharp 96*96 LCD displays Again, there where no libraries for the boards. The LS013B4DN04 SPI display is the actual Sharp part and I wrote a library to drive as many of these as you have GPIOpins free on the PI, I then proceeded to put a cool UI ontop of it so I can play with the board under Windows 10. Here is a video running through the demo ...
I saw the MagPi magazine in the local WHSmiths but at £5.99 I decided not to buy it. However, I was sent a copy to review and found it an enjoyable and informative read. MagPi has the latest news and reviews but the majority of the magazine about projects people have done with the Pi and tutorials that go into detail of what you could do yourself. There is a good mixture of coding and hardware projects.   The MagPi magazine has been running for over 3 years now created by independe ...
Hi everyone! I just want to show the project that I am working on, so lets go. This time I made an IoT ticket printer for my business, it prints the orders that users made in my store webpage. And the best of all is that the program is pretty simple, in any e-commerce platform when a client makes an order you receive an email. So this printer is conected via IMAP service to an email account that only receives this notification emails and when the email is received the software decodes and in ...
OK, so continueing the series on PI 2 with windows 10 for IoT, I decided to create a demo app for the PiFace Digital II, there where no libraries for the primary chip on the board. The MCP23S17 SPI to 16 pin expander so I wrote my own, then put a cool UI ontop of it so I can play with the board under Windows 10. This is the PiFace II   This is what the Linux UI Looks like this is the my version I like mine more   You can use it by simply clicking ...
