I have been using the Raspberry Pi camera board to create stunning 360 degree panoramas with the help of my Panobot.
The robot is built using lego and lego RCX motors hooked up to a £3 motor controller and 6AA batteries for power.
It is normally wireless but for this panorama, I forgot the wifi adapter so had to use UART
The robot rotates round taking 3 layers of photographs resulting in 33 photographs taken. When I return home I then feed the photos into Hugin and stitch them together producing a panorama.
