Since mid-December, the development team has been busy working on the first site update of 2014, which was successfully released last night (11th Feb). @mention changes

We've made some changes to @mention as part of the recent release. @mentioning is a useful mechanism for drawing a post to another user's attention. It is very useful, but several people highlighted limitations with it that we wanted to address.   The most immediately apparent change is that @mention now brings back more results, with a scroll bar to go through those results. With the implementation of Jive 6, users have lost the ability to easily monitor content that they are following from a single place. In order to address this, an extra tab has been added to the user's profile page to allow these items to be followed.
