The ADSP-21364 EZ-KIT Lite provides developers with a cost-effective method for initial evaluation of the ADSP-21364 SHARC® Processor architecture via a USB-based, PC-hosted tool set. With this EZ-KIT Lite, users can learn more about Analog Devices’ (ADI’s) ADSP-21364 hardware and software development and quickly prototype a wide range of applications.
The ADSP-21364 EZ-KIT offers the highest performance – 333MHz/2GFLOPs within the third generation SHARC Processor family. This level of performance makes the ADSP-21364 particularly well suited to address the increasing requirements of the professional audio market segment. High core performance combined with audio centric peripherals including a high-precision, 8-channel asynchronous sample rate converter makes the ADSP-21364 a very good choice in applications requiring industry-leading equalization, reverberation, and other effects processing.
The SHARC processors are based on a 32-bit super Harvard architecture that includes a unique memory architecture comprised of two large on-chip, dual-ported SRAM blocks coupled with a sophisticated IO processor, which gives a SHARC processor the bandwidth for sustained high-speed computations.
The evaluation system is designed to be used in conjunction with the VisualDSP++® development environment to test the capabilities of the ADSP-21364 SHARC processors. The VisualDSP++ development environment gives you the ability to perform advanced application code development and debug.
