    Overview

     

    Embest introduces its latest Single Board Computer (SBC) based on the Atmel ARM926-EJ-S-based ATMEL AT91SAM9x5 MCU family. It consists of two parts; one Base Board (MBM-SAM-9G) and one Core Processor Module (MBC-SAM9G15/9G25/9G35/9X25/9X35). The core processor module is the smallest 9X5 core in the market, to  reduce the space used as much as possible, you can take advantage of the core board to complete product development and improve the speed to market and reduce product development time. Industrial grade connectors can achieve seamless connectivity with a custom base board to greatly improve the stability of the product.

     

    SAM9X5 MCU family is designed to complement the power of the ARM926 core, these flexible devices deliver a rich combination of peripherals in a highly integrated design. The high bandwidth architecture is based on a multi-layer bus matrix, multiple DMA channels and an External Bus Interface to ensure internal and external data flows with minimum processor overhead. Integrated power management techniques preserve the power budget and reduce BOM cost.


    MBS-SAM9x5 SBC operates at up to 400MHz,with 256 Mbytes NAND Flash, 128MB DDR II, 4MB serial DataFlash and 64KB serial EEPROM on board memory. It supports Linux, and offers Angstrom and Android. The board provides a wide range of peripherals, including a high-speed USB2.0, Ethernet, audio interface, JTAG debug port, MicroSD card interface, SD/MMC card interface, CMOS camera interface and supports video data collection.
