Hercules LaunchPad (40-pin)
TheHercules™ LaunchPads ( and ) are the lowest cost evaluation platforms for Hercules MCUs and provides an entry-level option enabling developers to gain familiarity with TI Hercules MCUs and evaluate the platform’s performance and safety features. The launchpad is based on Hercules TMS570LS04 and RM42L432 respectively, which are dual core ARM Cortex-R4 based MCUs with features like 12-bit ADC, HET with programmable timer pins, eQEP, MibSPI and serial communication interfaces. The low cost evaluation kits of Hercules MCUs are designed for safety-critical applications related to functional safety standards, such as IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.

The Stellaris® LM4F120 LaunchPad () Evaluation Board is a low-cost evaluation platform for ARM® Cortex™-M4F-based microcontrollers from Texas Instruments. The design of the Stellaris LaunchPad highlights the LM4F120H5QR microcontroller with a USB 2.0 device interface and hibernation module. The EK-LM4F120XL also features programmable user buttons and an RGB LED for custom applications.

Capacitive Touch BoosterPack
The Capacitive Touch BoosterPack (430BOOST-SENSE1) is a plug in board for the multiProductLinkMSP430 Value Line LaunchPad development kit. This BoosterPack features several capacitive touch elements including a scroll wheel, button and proximity sensor. Also, on- board are 9 LEDs that provide instant feedback as users interact with the capacitive touch elements. In addition, a timer-based UART enables communication to a PC for feedback via GUI or hyperterminal. This BoosterPack also includes a pre-programmed MSP430G2452IN20 Value Line device.
C5000™ Audio Capacitive Touch BoosterPack
The Audio Capacitive Touch BoosterPack (ACTBP) is a plug in board for the multiProductLinkMSP430 Value Line LaunchPad development kit (MSP-EXP430G2). The kit offers a complete reference design for capacitive touch solutions, using the capacitive touch I/O ports of select MSP430 Value Line microcontrollers. This reference design allows designers to easily control the C5000™ ultra-low-power DSP using TI’s MSP430 microcontroller for crystal clear playback and record of MP3 audio/voice files.
CC110L RF BoosterPack
The CC110L RF BoosterPack is a low-power wireless transceiver extension kit for use with the Texas Instruments MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad development kit. Based on the CC110L device, the on-board Anaren Integrated Radio (AIR) A110LR09A radio module with integrated antenna operates in the European 868-870MHz and US 902-928MHz ISM bands. The included software application, called AIR BoosterStack, demonstrates an example sensor network as well as network status reporting.
Infrared Contactless Temperature Sensor BoosterPack
The BoosterPack is a simple adapter board that allows the TMP006EVM circuit board to be used with the MSP430 LaunchPad. EVM is designed to allow full evaluation of the device. The EVM features the TMP006 device with the required specific PCB layout and some simple support circuitry. The GUI for the EVM implements the full object temperature calculations allowing the user to measure object temperatures with the TMP006 BoosterPack.
ITO Glass Capacitive Touch BoosterPack
The KT35S430-S1 ITO Capacitive Touch BoosterPack is an extension module for the MSP-EXP430G2 multiProductLinkMSP430 LaunchPad Value Line Development Kit. The ITO Capacitive Sense BoosterPack features the new MSP430G2xxx devices with transparent ITO glass sensor. The BoosterPack includes a converter board and an ITO glass capacitive touch sensor. The user experience application demonstrates capacitive sense as standalone feature by showing the user interaction directly with the onboard LEDs.
Bi-Color Display BoosterPack
The KTBCD430-D1 Bi-stable Cholesteric Display BoosterPack is an extension module for the MSP-EXP430G2 multiProductLinkMSP430 LaunchPad Value Line Development Kit. The BCD (Bi-stable Cholesteric Display) module is connected to the MSP430 LaunchPad via SPI interface. The LCD features 128 x 64 dot matrix, 180 degree viewing angle, high contrast, and reflective and sunlight readabel. The demo software show the application of BCD module like power on, display characters, display images, reflash, power off, etc.
SPI Digital Potentiometer
The TPL0501EVM is designed to operate with the Texas Instruments LaunchPad (MSP-EXP430G2). The TPL0501EVM comes with a pre-programmed MSP430G2553 microcontroller which is to be inserted in the DIP socket on the LaunchPad. The TPL0501 is a single channel, linear-taper digital potentiometer with 256 wiper positions. The EVM is operated by connecting the LaunchPad to a PC that has Windows™ (with .NET) via the USB Port.
Universal Energy Harvesting Kit
The CBC-EVAL-09 Energy harvesting EVAL kits can provide uninterrupted power to the multiProductLinkMSP430 LaunchPad development kit. The Energy harvesting EVAL kits is a universal energy harvesting (EH) evaluation kit that combines any one of multiple EH transducers with the EnerChip EP CBC915-ACA Energy Processor and the EnerChip CBC51100 100µAh solid state battery module that has two 50µAh EnerChip solid state batteries connected in parallel. Solar Energy Harvesting Kit
The CBC-EVAL-10 Energy harvesting EVAL kits can provide uninterrupted power to the multiProductLinkMSP430 LaunchPad development kit. It is a demonstration kit that provides designers a platform to easily develop Energy Harvesting (EH) solutions using the EnerChip CBC3150 configured to operate in an energy harvesting mode.
