    Overview

ADC Click is an accessory board in mikroBus™ form factor. It includes a 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) MCP3204 that features 50k samples/second, 4 input channels and low-power consumption (500nA typical standby, 2µA max). Board uses industry standard SPI communication interface. It is small in size and features convenient screw terminals for easier connections. Board is set to use 3.3V power supply by default. Place PWR SEL SMD jumper to 5V position if used with 5V systems.

mikroBUS™ is specially designed pinout standard with SPI, I2C, Analog, UART, Interrupt, PWM, Reset and Power supply pins.

    FAQs

    +
    -
What is the power supply voltage rating for the board?
It is set to use 3.3V power supply by default but the board can be used in both 3.3V and 5.0V systems.
    +
    -
How can we select 5V power supply?
There is a PWR SEL jumper (a zero ohm resistor) used to select the operating voltage. To change from the default of 3.3V, the jumper must be removed and soldered to the 5V position.
    +
    -
What is the second SMD jumper for?
It is "REFERENCE" to select either VCC or 4.096V as the voltage reference.

    -
    Is the board plug-n-play?
Yes. you will be able to expand your designs with additional functionality and minimim hardware configuration. Just plug and play.

    -
Is there any code example available?
The examples are provided for mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers on the Libstock website. Just download them( www.libstock.com) and you are ready to start.
