    The TPA3131D2EVM is a stereo analog input, Class-D speaker amplifier IC for driving speakers with output power of 2x7W into 8Ω. TPA3131D2 operates heat sink-free with cooling to the PCB through the PowerPAD™ package. The TPA3131 has an advanced oscillator/PLL circuit which employs a multiple switching frequency option to avoid AM interference. A Master/Slave option makes it possible to synchronize multiple devices. The TPA3131D2 is fully protected against faults with short-circuit protection and thermal protection as well as over-voltage, under-voltage and DC protection

    The TPA3131D2 is an efficient, stereo digital amplifier power stages for driving speakers with up to 2x42W/4Ω peak power. TPA3131D2 operates heatsink-free with cooling to PCB through the bottom side PowerPAD™ with sustained output power 2x4W/8Ω.

    The TPA3131D2 advanced oscillator/PLL circuit employs a multiple switching frequency option to avoid AM interferences; this is achieved together with an option of Master/Slave option, making it possible to synchronize multiple devices.

    The TPA3131D2 are fully protected against faults with short-circuit protection and thermal protection as well as over-voltage, under-voltage and DC protection. Faults are reported back to the processor to prevent devices from being damaged during overload conditions.
