About

The Internet of Things is the most exciting area of technology today. But to build wireless IoT sensor-to-cloud projects requires technical skills that everyone may not have. That’s why new development tools and kits are now available so everyone -- Makers, Hobbyists, Students, Educators and Professional Makers -- can create IoT projects. The goal of this webinar is to show you an easy-to-use to development platform which provides anyone a design tool for the developing and testing of IoT-related radio applications without being any expert.

Called the AMBER PI, it is an expansion board for the Raspberry Pi  that equips it with a sub-1-GHz RF interface provided by AMBER wireless. It includes sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, motion) as well as a simple software development environment for the configuration and operation of various RF modules. All you need is a few lines connected to a UART interface to establish the hardware connection. The convenient command interface allows to configure and operate the radio module.
