Gated Cameo "A" Lens with NIR and IR wavelengths
Building on the success of the interdiction off the Gated Cameo "A" lens models to the Farnell catalogue, a further four models have been introduced covering NIR and IR wavelengths. These wavelengths are partially useful when used with photo detectors and CCD cameras and other detector systems. Four models are available which covers the 780 & 850nm wavelength with powers of 1 & 3mW. TTL modulation is included as standard with a bandwidth ≥100Khz. They are compatible with the five external optics which are available and include three lines, a cross and a grid pattern.
Survelase long distance targeting laser
The Survelase consists of 15mm diameter housing with a custom designed achromatic lens arrangement, which allows it to produce small spots over a wide range of working distance with the additional benefit of user adjustable focus. Combined with the internal APC control circuit which operates on a 5 volt DC power source and with the added feature of TTL modulation makes this laser a complete package, flexible for a wide range of applications. The Survelase is suitable for a wide range of applications where a small spot at a longer distance is required, e.g. positioning, targeting and alignment. It is available in 635nm and with powers of 1mW and 5mW. The focus mechanism allows the output beam to be adjusted to your requirements via a focus key.
Varilite PWM Development Kit
The Varilite PWM Development Kit provides a complete solution to a wide range of visual alignment applications, including positioning of garments, cloth, paper, wood and metal and a wide range of machine vision applications. Three versions of the kit are available in 635nm,1mW & 5mW and 660nm 20mW. The kit is supplied in a robust case, comprises of a Varilite laserdiode module, five interchangeable optics which produce a range of line and cross and patternprojections, a heavy duty mounting clamp for easy set up and adjustment and a 110V/240Vvoltage adaptor, including leads for UK, Euro and US main sockets.
Red Laser Enhancement Glasses
Laser Enhancement Glasses enhance projections in the red wavelength range (630nm to 670nm) by blocking light in other wavelengths, thus improving the visibility
in outdoors or bright lighting condition’s. They are partially useful for applications were an eye safe laser is required, but there are high ambient light levels such as bright sun light. The glasses also meet ANSI Z87 impact standard.
Laser Safety Glasses
Four different models of laser safety glasses have been introduced, each with an OD level to provided protection from wavelengths ranging from UV to IR. The style is the over glasses type with adjustable arms. All models are EN207 compliant.
FireFly Mini
The new FireFly Mini green range sets a new standard for small industrial grade, green laser diode modules. A radical new design provides TE stabilised performance without TE size cost and power consumption. The self-contained laser offers the user an output power of 5mW with impressive power stability over a wide operating temperature with a quick warm up time. It operates from a 3.3 to 5V DC Voltage supply with a operating current of < 500mA. The FireFly Mini PWM version allows you to use pulse width modulation of the output intensity from a TTL level input signal, within the limits of the laser module’s maximum rise and fall time. You can therefore control the mean intensity of the laser beam simply by changing the mark to space ratio or modulate the laser with coded information. A high accuracy bore sight aligned spot with low divergence, achieved by the integrated optics allows focusing over a wide operating range.

Four models are available which covers the 650 & 635nm wavelength with powers of 1 & 3mW. TTL modulation is included as standard with a bandwidth ≥100Khz. Five external optics are available which include three lines, a cross and a grid pattern.
VM
The VM (Versatile Module) from Imatronic provides a high quality and cost effect OEM solution to a wide range of applications including Machine Vision, Inspection, Alignment and Positioning. The module is a compact 11mm diameter and features output powers of 1 & 3mW in both 650 & 635nm with the benefit of an isolated housing and reverse polarity protection as standard. An A/R coated user adjustable collimating lens produces an elliptical output beam which can be focussed to produce fine spots. A TTL enable input is also included as standard which allow the user to switch the laser on and off with a TTL logic level signal. Further versatility is provided by the wide range of external optics available which simply screws into the end of the laser module, allowing the user to quickly and efficiently switch from one projection to another. Five external optics are available which include three lines, a cross and a grid pattern. A optional heavy duty clamp (HDC) allows the user to secure the laser and has parallel and vertical adjustment which allows the user to aim the laser in any required direction or angle.
Heavy Duty Clamp
Imatronic's Heavy Duty Clamp has parallel and vertical adjustment which allows the user to aim the laser in any required direction or angle, the robust aluminium construction also assists in conducting heat away from the laser body as well as prevents movement due to shock and vibration. The base plate of the Heavy duty clamp has a series of threaded holes to allow the Heavy Duty Clamp to be securely fastened to stable surface. The clamp is compatible with the VM & LDM115 range.
Interchangeable Optics
Complementing the Gated Cameo "A" lens models & VM range are five interchangeable optics which simply screw into the end of the desired module. The range includes three line optics with fan angles of 33,60 & 105°, a cross optics with a fan angle of 60° and an optics producing a 4 X 4 grid. The lens as suitable for a wide range of applications including alignment, positioning & machine vision.
