I found this link, which describes how the JIVE platform works, helpful in understanding the workings of the website.
As far as the benefits that are available, that is pretty much up to the individual members. There are new friends, with an interest in Science, Electronics, Programming and a whole catalog of related fields, here waiting for you. There is a way for you to help others with their questions and subsequently to learn more yourself. There are fun challenges and projects to do in cooperation and in competition with others. I guess it isn't for everyone as many who come to the site come for a few days and don't return but for those who stay it becomes a friendly welcoming place to be just as technical and nerdy as one wants without recriminations. You can start by telling us a little about your background and interests. Welcome to E-14.
A community is only as good as the people who add content. Read more to see the people who work hard and share much more.
Element 14 is like any other group. You get out of it what you put into it.
Initially, you gain access to some very experienced engineers and makers.
You can ask questions and seek guidance and you will get good advice.
Your really great benefits will come by interacting with the other members.
As I said, you have access to some very talented people here.
Learn how to work with the group and you will be rewarded with great mentoring and support.
Welcome to the element14 Community, and as always please feel free to reach out the element14 Support Team if you have any questions or help with issues you are having.
