Did you create the project from scratch or did you use a 2016.2 project and open it in 2017.2? If that is the case, try recreating the project from scratch first.
I have tried both ways. I did have problems converting the project, so have been focused on the from scratch version.
Are you doing the Developing Zynq Software Speedway or Developing Zynq Hardware Speedway?
If you are doing the Develpoing Zynq Software Speedway, are you using the .hdf file that was provided with the Zedboard from the 2016.2 Speedway in SDK 2017.2? If that is the case, then you are using a file that was generated using Vivado 2016.2 in SDK 2017.2. That is most likely what is causing your issue. Please go through the entire Developing Zynq Hardware Speedway to generate the 2017.2 .hdf file that is needed for the Software Speedway.
I've been going through the Hardware Speedway. So I generated the .hdf (export Hardware) in Vivado (2017.2) . Launched the SDK from Vivado. Then went through the steps in the lab instructions. Generating the BSP and the Hello World application.
I am working on the Speedway Zedboard lab tutorials. I am currently trying to get the Hello World example to work. On the last step of running the project I get the error:
no targets found with "name =~"APU*" && jtag_cable_name =~ "Digilent Zed 210248A49BEC"". available targets:
1 DAP (JTAG port open error. AP transaction error, DAP status 30000021)
I have run the labs already done tutorial on SDK 2016.2 and that works correctly on the hardware, but would like to get it working on 2017.2.
What is different in 2017.2 where the target isn't found?
