For production, we verify the boards are built correctly by exercising the following interfaces of the SOM via the FMC V2 Carrier Card for PicoZed.
SD Card Boot
Are you currently talking to your local Avnet FAE? They could most likely provide you formal documentation on this.
Thanks for the response. Very good to hear that the boards are exercised before being shipped. Our FAE referred me to this forum, so I'm assuming that he does not have access to formal documentation on this. Formal documentation on this would be desirable to have in case of questions later.
Your FAE can request this information via the same method they would request the source files for any of our carrier boards. Are you able to pass this information back along to them? If not please let me know whom your local Avnet FAE is and I'll assist them in making the request.
I'll pass this along and see what he can do. Thank you.
We are in the process of determining the scope of our
production tests, and wanted to get an understanding of what type of tests the
PicoZeds (AES-Z7PZ-7Z010-SOM-I-G) go through before they are shipped. Our initial thought is that the
PicoZed and its peripherals (DDR, SD, eMMC, QSPI, Ethernet, etc..) are tested
before they are shipped. If this is the case, our production testing will be focused
on vetting the carrier card.
