Me and my team are going to configure our zedboard's and zynq ultrascale+ evaluation boards for NFS boot over our internal network. We know how to configure the MAC Address of the Zedboard or ZynqUS+MPSoC. However, we want to know if the boards or the chips come preconfigured with existing MAC Addresses and if yes can we change them at hardware level and if no, is it possible that they might interfere with out configured MAC Addresses?
Depending on what board you have, we usually provide a MAC as part of a I2C or 1 wire chip. You are free to use that MAC or not. It is set in the OS through software.
