Re: Xilinx Vitis (and Vivado 2019.2) available
Fred27 Nov 1, 2019 7:52 AM (in response to Fred27)1 of 1 people found this helpfulIt looks like the Application Acceleration Development Flow part of Vitis is Linux only. I've been trying to get PetaLinux tools working in WSL under Windows to avoid a whole Ubuntu VM. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and use a full Linux build.
Also, the Vitis installer seems to include Vivado. That would at least explain the size!

Re: Xilinx Vitis (and Vivado 2019.2) available
Fred27 Nov 3, 2019 10:21 AM (in response to Fred27)So, Vivado has previously prompted me to buy a load more RAM. Vitis now means there is no more room on my 512GB SSD. I could probably just about squeeze it on there if I do a more thorough clear out. However, I've ordered a few cables so that I can cram a 1.5TB HD alongside it.
I was just checking some PetaLinux stuff and noticed that 2019.2 is now available. Then I spotted Vivado 2019.2 and... Vitis! It looks like Xilinx have continued the tradition of steadily increasing software size - 30.76GB!
