I recently did an experiment where I bought several brands of the 18650 off the internet and tested them against their rated mAhr labeling. Just about all of them had a max 1200 mAh measured capacity regardless of their labeling. One very inexpensive group that was labeled 4800 mAh had even less than that. I also ran tests on several 18500 brands and fount that generally they had better compliance with their rated values than the 18650. The best 18650 that I have found have been those salvaged from computer battery packs. I am sure that there must be good quality high capacity 18650 batteries out there but don't expect to get a bargain price on them. This may not address your specific question but might be useful as additional insight.

You could probably look into name brand 18650 batteries, such as Panasonic, Samsung, etc.
Question was for flat batteries. I can get top quality 18650 in store, but not for flat batteries.
I believe they make flat ones as well
I am developing some battery powered electronics for my motorcycle. 18650 batteries are great, but they are big, and holder does take up PCB space.
What is good, is you can get very high quality 18650 cells. They can have High capacity as well as be mechanically safe.
Is where alternative to good flat batteries ? I need something in 10Ah range, fast charging ( 6A lets say) and could provide 2A of peak current and also have good life.
Any ideas ? eBay is filled with cheap stuff, and it just does not look as a good option to me to buy it.
