I have been browsing this site for a few months, after learning about it from The Ben Heck Show. I'm new to electronics, but have always harbored a desire to know more. I'm no engineer, but am pretty good at learning how to use things on my own (I love DIY projects). I work with Solar PV and am a member of my local Makerspace. Please excuse my noob-ness. :-D
Hi Mark - thanks for your comment - we're looking into this right now with our legal team, and hopefully can get all those in New Zealand participating in contests on element14 Community soon!

Hi, from the west coast of Canada, Victoria BC,
My name is James and I am a 2nd year Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology w Renewable Energies student at Camosun, Worked for 20 + year as an automated wood-shop millwright/machines operator before an injury encouraged a path change. In my field I started as a CNC operated, added programming, then took over maintenance and repairs of all the equipment.
I love repairing electronics in particular and as most of us here are, I am a gadget and tech junkie. As a hobby I repair LCD monitors and TV, in my spare time (which is very little now with school).I have been involved with computers since the Vic-20 was the hottest computer on the market .LOL
I'm a grad student in computer engineering, I joined because I wanted to roadtest the Flora. It would work nicely for some of my existing projects I think.
I'm interested in human computer interaction, and building unconventional input/output devices.
Hello all, my name is Peter. I am from Romania. I am new to element 14. I study in Valahia University on Electric Engineering, Electronics and Informational Technologies. I interested by PIC MCU-s, on EasyPIC development boards.
Hi skyberrys - thanks for joining! We're pretty excited about the Flora and the Wearables Challenge! Should be a pretty interesting project and looking forward to seeing all the interesting projects made from the Flora! Good luck in the RoadTest!
