I started building a hybrid solution 7 years ago. I am a journalist and an experimenter. I have 8.5KW AC. I have a 4KW invertor 48VDC that is analog and an invertor that is 12VDC.   I have 26 panels of 36V and 4 panels of 12 Volts.
