Raspberry Pi 4 has been out for a tiny bit here. The potential was tantalizing. Faster CPU, 4gb ram, USB 3.0. It was so much for everyone, sellouts everywhere were common. We are now able to get them easily. So what are we going to do with it?   When I received a Raspberry Pi 4, the standout difference from previous models is definitely the… (Show more)

I purchased a Raspberry Pi3 last week, after spending couple of days trying to get it to boot up I gave up and purchase another one. I am having the same issues, it just would not boot up, i.e. the green light does not lit -- which I think means that is Not reading the SD card to load the Operating System. This is what I have done so far: Used a… (Show more)

New to Pi, so please excuse the naive questions.   Putting together a standard, off-the-shelf Kodi installation with the "official" 7" screen, but the display renders upside down.  Known issue, but the solutions all seem to address Raspian; I would prefer to use LibreELEC.   Is there a LibreElec version of lcd_rotate=2? Is it in a config file?… (Show more)

The new Raspberry Pi 4 will not fit in any of the enclosures I have at hand and while doing preparation for a RoadTest I found that my Pi was overheating and throttling back.  A quick web search did not find what was desired and besides designing one seemed like a good learning opportunity.  The resulting design, done in Fusion 360, has the… (Show more)

I would like to build a project using a raspberry pi that gives a user an small led sequence which they must repeat. Successfully doing so gives them a combination lock code via an lcd screen so they may open the cache. If you don’t know what a geocache is go to geocaching.com Is this possible?

Hello all,   I have a simple question. I want to use raspberry pi to create a telephone exchange. I need to use an ISDN BRI but i only can find PCI or PCI-Express boards.   How can I put a PCI/PCI-E on Raspberry Pi Board? Or how can I fix that situation using Raspberry pi?   Thanks, Ricardo Silva

Google has been busy getting stuff attached to MagPi magazines.. I spotted a box containing an 'AIY' kit at the local magazine retailer. Basically it is a card box with some electrical parts and the MagPi magazine. It is like a cut-down DIY version of Amazon Alexa from what I can tell.   They had plenty at closing time, so I suspect there will… (Show more)
