Ive been thinking about my next project.   Now I have the arduino wave shield basics I would like to get a bit more creative.   I want to make a rocket launched themed timer that will count down from a given time.   To start I think I will make it 10 minutes but once I get a bit more experience I would like to link it to a smart phone or remote so any number of minutes can be requested.   As the timer counts down the visual counting down ill be seen on Seven segments ...
I've finally completed my project using the Arduino and the wave shield. Really enjoyed this project, from learning to solder to playing around with code a bit more complex to what I was used to. I did struggle with joining code from the PIR sensor with the code for the wave shield.... thank goodness for the internet :-)   The aim of the Flush-a-Vader is to remind toilet users not to flush anything but toilet paper once they have finished their business. In the UK we are getting issues ...
Had a succesful christmas eve working on the flush-a-vader project.   learnt to solder... made a couple errors but a good learning experience   Got the wave shield code to work. Now to combine the PIR sensor and shield to complete the electronic part of the project. This this will wait for after Christmas day.   Now time for for a celebratory drink and a mince pie.   Merry Christmas to you all!   Kaylee   ...
Been playing around with the PIR sensor this morning.       Managed to wire it up and get some code from this very useful source http://www.circuitmagic.com/arduino/pir-motion-sensor-with-arduino/   Now to understand the code. Changing some of variables and seeing what happens.   I really need to get on with having a go at soldering but having to wait until later in the week to catch up with my father in-law. He has a bit of experience and the kit. I did however fi ...
Aim: To build a device that will remind people not to flush anything but toilet paper once they have finished their business. The UK is being hit with the soft wet wipe style tissues that are advertised as flushable and other products such as cotton buds that are entering the sewage styles and causing blockages and equipment failures. In the fight to raise awareness of these issues I want to build the Flush-A-Vader.   Equipment: Arduino Uno Ardunio adafruit wave shield Speaker M ...
