Ok for me this is off topic but it is something that I am meddling about with. I picked up a dead Blu-ray player with no drive, but it does have a nice RJ-45 and an internal WiFi transceiver sticking out of the back, and a neet black front panel. Now as it happens the thing also is written in Java.

THE PLAN: is to make it see my NFS mounted library, and to play them like locally mounted media.

THE ANALYSIS: I have included my configuration, see the table below. Checking around I found out that the player runs a Linux kernel 2.6.28.9 from elinux.org. I have also found an unpopulated 13 pin connector, If you notice on the lower right there is a label, covering J8, see the table below.
