Sharing unboxing image of the Infineon Smart Power Switch Bundle which I received today.
Tested Low-Side Switch Shield (BTF3050TE) for Arduino used to run different motors DC motors, a 3W motor pump, upon getting PIR detector an Ultrasonic inputs to start and stop the motor with OLED display with buzzer alarm to sound the status of running motor.
It doesn't get heated up so no heat sinks or forced cooling is required for this shield with Arduino.
As per specifications shield with BTF3050TE for Arduino with a nominal current of 3A is able to drive resistive, inductive and capacitance loads with over temperature and overcurrent features.
Though haven't tested with XMC1100 boot kit.
24V Protected Switch shield with BTT6030-2EKA /1EKA for Arduino was tested with multiple DC motors, this board too doesn't get heated up with different loads and easier to interface with Arduino, seems to be a good fit with Arduino than XMC1100, though haven't interfaced with XMC11000 boot kit.
It's good for running multiple motors with Automotive lights with PWM.
Summary: These shields are very good with the form factor they are with Arduino based power electronics products in the automotive and home automation domains.
