  • Evaluation Type: Development Boards & Tools
  • Was everything in the box required?: Yes
  • Comparable Products/Other parts you considered: Raspberry Pi 3B, New RaspberryPi 4, BeagleBone, Raspberry Pi Zero W All are better but at a similar price.
  • What were the biggest problems encountered?: Installing and using new softwares on the hardware as it was very old one so latest versions of some softwares (Node-Red, etc.) did not work properly.

  • Detailed Review:

The unboxing part was good. Packaging was so better for so small hardware.

Surprised to find an old SD card (8GB) with a very old NOOBS image already provided.

    First Time booting:

Its the original Raspberry Pi OS that shipped at that time in the sd card ... Its the NOOBS. A retro version completely different from modern looks.

I installed the standard Raspbian even though there were other options.

It was fun playing with the hardware and adding it to collectetion of old hardware.

After a few days experimenting with the device currently the RaspberryPi is acting as a Node-Red Server though on an olden version. So, if you want a SBC dont get this one because many popular services dont work nor does the new HATs which use 40 pins instead of 26 pins.
