For Single or double layer PCBs , I can definitely recommend Elecrow.
It's not famous as Seeedstudio, but Elecrow's PCB Service is much Cheaper than seed's . and most important is that it provide SIX COLOR to CHOOSE FREE.
Their PCB service, Also Fusion PCB, The price of 10pcs double layer is almost the same as Seeed's, and they also provide 5pcs PCB service.
But when the PCB size is smaller than 10cm*10cm, 5pcs and 10pcs is the same price and I don't know why?
when the PCB size is bigger than 10cm*10cm, 5pcs PCB sevice will save amost US $10 per time.
I have order a cheap boards from H-Instruments.
Price for 5 pcs 2 layerboard (max size 50x50mm , 1.9"x1.9") is only 37.95$ with free shipping includet.
Soldermask on top and bottom layer and silkmask on top
I have used them few times and the quality is very good, so I can recommend them if you nedd cheap professional boards.
About European PCB: I just finished a quotation to US customer with an all-inclusive price at ca. 19US cents per cm2, but admittedly that was a bigger panelized set (2L FR4).
As for prototype work, our lowest EU PCB price starts from under 30 eurocents per cm2. Delivery starting from 7days.
The price level is not much as the quality is actually excellent (see customer comment and maybe our www here: http://electronics-pcb.com/elec-pcb-technology-2 ).
Although our service might not be the cheapest there is, consider this: no size limitations, integrity (=when you say you want European PCB, you will get it), and same
good service to everybody!
This and reasonable prices might be my personal revenge on the lots of bad shopping experiences I got while in the Uni :-)
What a nice surprice at Elecrow 4 Layer PCB fabricate service.
For 5cm*5cm max PCB manufature, it need only $23.9.
For 10cm*10cm Max PCB manufature, it need only $49.9.
I think it is the lowest price for 4 layer PCBs.

www.oshpark.com has decent prices
$1 per square inch, 150 square inch minimum. You can have as many different designs as you want, as long as each is ordered in a multiple of 10 boards.
$5 per square inch for three copies of your design. For example, a 2 square inch board would cost $10 and you’d get three copies of your board. You can order as many copies as you want, as long as they’re in multiples of three.
$10 per square inch for three copies of your design. For example, a 2 square inch board would cost $20 and you’d get three copies of your board. You can order as many copies as you want, as long as they’re in multiples of three.
- All boards are FR4 170Tg/290Td which are suitable for lead-free processes and temperature.
- They have ENIG (gold) finish for superior solderability and environmental resistance.
- They’re 1.6mm thick (0.063 inches) with 1 ounce copper on both sides. For four layer boards, the internal copper is 0.5 ounce.
- The minimum specs are 6 mil traces with 6 mil spaces, and 13 mil drills with 7 mil annular rings.
- Internal cutouts are allowed and supported. Draw them on your board outline layer.
- Plated slots aren’t supported."
I would like to weigh in on this, I create my own pcb's with Eagle design and print it with a laser printer on thermal pcb transfer paper. I have had great success doing this and it makes it cheap. It may not be what your looking for, but it works for me.
Here's one that I read about in an Article and Posted on my Blog here, http://donsdeals.blogspot.com/2013/04/pcb-dead-bug-prototype-soldering-bga.html Has anyone used them? They known as, Quick turn PCB Prototype Manufacturing & Fabrication | Custom Circuit Boards and the site is at, http://www.customcircuitboards.com/
$2 per board will have to be high volume in China definitely.. When I do small batches of prototypes (less than 10) I use PCB Unlimited (http://www.pcbunlimited.com/), they have different options for printed circuit boards. Their offshore PCBs are really good prices, but the turn time is not that good.. Their quickturn service however is really good, I usually ask for 4 layer boards and can get good US made PCBs in about 3 days. If you have some supplier with prices that low for only a couple of boards please let us know.
Can any of these companies make a board prototype from a PDF or GIF file... render them in Eagle CAD?
Hi, new site member here! Looking to build a short run of an Arduino shield. I am working on a freshwater aquarium controller for my kid's fishtank, first major Arduino project for me. I would like it to become an attractive shield when I am done, currently it is a sensor shield with components and wires everywhere.
I have never had a board build, have built my own over the years but I do not want to try a complex shield by hand. I will need to learn the procedure and the terminology for the process, any place that is a good source for basics? I have used google, that is how I found this thread, but I need a reliable source for process... so that I get it right from the start. I like the DorkbotPDX service, in the US and rates look ok. Would want silkscreen on the top side and no SMT devices.
Any pointers would be great, btw this will not be a marketed device... may make a few for friends.
Can vouch for the quality of SeeedStudio (multiple hundreds of boards) and DorkBot, both going down to 6/6, looking to try out Elecrow for a project I have in my mind that would fit nicely on the 10cm x 10cm option. IMHO the screenprinting from SeeedStudio is better than Dorkbot but Dorkbot is US based and turnaround is faster and for 3 boards to verify all is good, can't beat it for small boards. FWIW I always submit gerbers after looking at them in a free gerber viewer - ViewPlot works well.El
Looking forward to also trying out Elecrow's laser cut stencil service because once you go smt, I have never had a reason to go back to th - 0603 works excellent for my designs and keeps them nice and tiny.
Thanks for the link to Elecrow - time is rarely an issue as I am usually 3+ designs ahead of prototype assembly
Hey guys, just wondering, weather their are any cheep PCB fab Labs , in INDIA !!
|Original Post||Updated Info|
Many engineers I know all want to fabricate PCBs for the custom, prototype, or one of a kind projects, but they often can not afford to have them printed at the volume many board houses require.
What are some cheap PCB printing services out there?
Personally, I am looking for board houses that will print 1 - 10 boards for less than 2 dollars a piece. Component placement services a plus!
Any help would be appreciated.
