There are a great many Arduino beginning tutorials, so find a site you understand and start building projects.
You will find that each project builds on what you learn in the first project, which is perfect for people just learning both hardware and software.
Be persistent and ask questions. A world of wonder awaits you.
A couple places I suggest looking for inspiration:
Hackster.io has various different projects you can browse through. Their site is nice because you can create an account and list the hardware you have. Then projects that match your hardware are suggested to you. Pretty good instructions and a good community to get your started.
As a really cheap sensor starter kit, I recommend something like this from DealExtreme. Really cheap and easy to get started with.
Hope this helps!
I am an amateur programmer and i am just getting started on hardware's development boards like the arduino and the raspberri pi. So I need some Ideas so that i can work on them. I don't want my project to be really complicated but something usual for my parents or my friends.I would gladly receive any good Ideas.
