Remove the resultsSettings.refinements.filters=inStock parameter and it'll give you all the results you're seeing on the site.

Yeah, I see what you're saying but have no idea why it's doing that (I'm not part of the team who looks after it).
There are stock level and brandname values in the return. See https://partner.element14.com/docs/Product_Search_API_REST__Description for the sample returns. You can simply inspect the returned json object in any Developer console to see all the available values. Alternative products are included in the search returns. Sadly, in today's market in stock from some products is becoming a challenge . Kind of a good thing for the global economy , business is booming , but not so good when you need the product :-)

Does the API really works?
Does Farnell keep it queries from API updated?
I also asked for the APIkeys, and I am still waiting, I am using the ones in the example
