    SD card issues - Configuring Xilinx SDSoC for PetaLinux Based Platforms

      I have been following the "Configuring Xilinx SDSoC for PetaLinux Based Platforms" guide.

      I have the UltraZed-EV SOM and Carrier Card.

      I have the 2018.2 version of all the Xilinx tools.

       

      I was able to follow the "A Practical Guide to Getting Started with Xilinx SDSoC" guide to conclusion without issue.

       

      My issue is this:  on page 25, step 49, my system is not seeing the <Project>.elf executable.

      In fact, I re-formatted the SD card and made 3 changes to it beyond what steps 27-33 and 38-43 tell you to do.  When I boot the SD card, none of these 3 changes are visible either.

      It's like the system is actually booting from a different location, other than the SD card.

       

      What do I need to do to make this system recognize what's actually on the SD card?  Thanks.

       

      The mode pins are Off-On-Off-On.  The terminal log says I'm booting from SD1.
