Re: CS Polygon pour takes over 30 min
tarribred61 Dec 2, 2020 12:41 PM (in response to vuk1020)It takes that long for ONE polygon? Do all of them take similar times or is it only one that is very complex? That time does seem excessive. I have not done complex polys with CS but the ones I have done have been less than 1 minute.

Re: CS Polygon pour takes over 30 min
vuk1020 Dec 9, 2020 8:50 PM (in response to tarribred61)Yes one polygon can take that long, when there are multiple polygons the problem gets even worse. I have noticed that if you pour them using the "Repour All" command they can sometimes go very fast but it's not consistent. When pouring them individually or through Object inspector it takes a very long time.

Re: CS Polygon pour takes over 30 min
adamwebber Dec 10, 2020 9:41 PM (in response to vuk1020)Rebuild your project. There is a glitch somewhere in the project file. Make a new project and import your existing project documents into it. Don't delete your old project yet. Save your rules and other settings so you can import them into the new project. This should only take a couple of minutes and it will fix the problem.

joedoe1979 Dec 11, 2020 1:54 AM (in response to adamwebber)Hallo James,
I create a new empty project, but I dont find the project import function. I Can add all existings files (schematics and pcb) to the project. Then I can open the PCB and import all Design-Rules from the old project und and layer-stack too. Is that the way that you meen?

adamwebber Dec 11, 2020 1:07 PM (in response to joedoe1979)Yes. By importing, I mean just add them to the new project. I'm sorry that I wasn't more clear with that.

I have a somewhat high complexity board with multiple polygons on different layers. When I pour the polygons sometimes it takes over 30 minutes to do one polygon pour. Is this normal, shouldn't this be more efficient?
