I'm looking into modifying my xbox one standard controller to have 4 buttons on the bottom. I am planning on making three of the buttons the ABX buttons and the fourth button will send a signal to a SP4T slide switch and that will connect to the 4 direction on the d pad. This way I can choose if I want the 4th button to be a specific direction on the d pad. My question is, there are a lot of different types of SP4T slide switches and they all have different voltages. Does that matter since the switch will be sending a signal? Or do I need a specific switch to do this?
Thanks,
Drew
