They both have lots of room for manual soldering and they are pretty much the same length.
I would use the smaller footprint.

If you use paste, there's no need for "manual style" pads.

Hi all,
I am trying to make my mind up about which pad I should use for placing capacitors or other devices using just my hot air gun.
Is there any advantage of choosing a C2106 over a 2106K for example?
I see the K is marked for reflow and see it's a little bigger.
Is that the only advantage ? ie: More paste ?
Why would I choose one over the other they both seem to work ?
