Farnell’s popular holiday games competition returns with launch of ‘Winter Games’

Participants can access exclusive weekly offers from leading brands and play games to win great prizes

Winter Games

Farnell, the Development Distributor, is launching its Winter Games competition, giving customers access to exclusive weekly offers from market leading suppliers and fun online games where participants can win e-vouchers as well as the Winter Games Grand Prize, a Go Pro Max 360° Camera.

The Winter Games consists of three Olympic sport disciplines including ice hockey, bobsleigh and curling. The competition is available in 20 countries across Europe; three weekly prizes will be awarded in each country as well as the Grand Prize for all European competitors. In addition to the great prizes available in the Winter Games, Farnell is also supporting customers with exclusive offers from leading brands including TE Connectivity, Microchip, Renesas, Silicon Labs, Tektronix and many more.

Alana Bacon, Head of Marketing for UK/IE, Southern Europe & Benelux at Farnell, said: “Farnell’s strong relationships with market leading suppliers such as Microchip and Renesas enable us to offer our customers exclusive benefits they won’t find anywhere else. The interactive games and prize giveaways add a fun element for participants getting into the winter spirit.”

The first of the three Winter Games activities, ice hockey, will run until early December. Following this, participants can try their hand at bobsleigh and then curling. The competition will run until early February 2020 with the Grand Prize winner announced in March.
