Newark Adds Amphenol Industrial LPT Series to Connectors Lineup

LPT

Newark, the Development Distributor, is now offering Amphenol’s LPT Series, providing designers and engineers with a cost-effective alternative for military-grade connectors. Featuring a lightweight aluminum shell design and a standard PT shell with coupling nut, this new series is compatible with the popular original Amphenol PT series.

“Driving innovation requires cost-effective solutions that don’t sacrifice quality,” said Rob Toenies, Product Manager at Newark. “We’re excited to continue building our strong relationship with Amphenol by offering this new solution for engineering customers looking for a military-spec product at a commodity price.”

Amphenol’s LPT Series features cylindrical bayonet connectors that allow for easy insertion and ensure retention force with three retention tines equipped with stamped and formed crimp contacts. The high shock and vibration resistant connectors allow for years of proven performance in the field.

Widely used in general and harsh environments, the LPT Series Connector is ideal for factory automation, automotive, hybrid electric vehicles, energy storage, power distribution, industrial instrumentation, and process control applications.

Amphenol Industrial Products Group is a global leader in interconnect systems for harsh environment applications.
