element14 partners with NI at electronica China 2023

element14 is partnering with NI, a leader in automated test and measurement systems, to showcase solutions that address engineers' growing test and measurement needs at electronica China.

NI provides modular hardware, software, services, and systems to optimise testing, design, reliability, and test data utilisation. Their software includes LabVIEW for application visualization, TestStand for test workflow, DIAdem for measurement data management, and FlexLogger for flexible data-logging systems. Hardware offerings include PXI/PCIe instrumentation, controllers, DAQ devices, oscilloscopes, multimeters, CompactDAQ Chassis, CompactRIO Controllers, and C Series modules.

From stand E110 in Hall 7.2, element14 will demonstrate the following products from NI, including:

  • NI CompactDAQ box, a portable and flexible data acquisition platform: It combines signal connectors, integrated signal conditioning, and converters in a single package to deliver higher accuracy measurements by eliminating error-prone cabling and connectors and reducing the number of components in a measurement system. With over 60 C Series I/O modules supporting a wide range of sensor types, engineers can easily design a customized hardware setup optimized for size, cost, and performance. These portable and customizable solutions provide synchronized measurements across a network, digitize data closer to sensors, minimize noise, and simplify cabling in the field.

  • PCI-6221 Multifunction I/O Device: The device delivers low-cost, reliable DAQ capabilities in a wide range of applications from simple applications in laboratory automation, research, design verification/test, and manufacturing test. Engineers can also expand their capabilities by adding sensor and high-voltage measurement options with SCC or SCXI signal conditioning modules. The included NI-DAQmx driver and configuration utility simplify configuration and measurements.

  • PCI - GPIB Instrument Control Device:  It is a plug‑and‑play IEEE 488 interface for PCs and workstations with PCI expansion slots. The device can sustain data transfer rates of more than 1.5 MB/s using the IEEE 488.1 three‑wire interlocked handshake. It also implements the high-speed IEEE 488.1 noninterlocked handshake (HS488) for benchmarked data transfers at more than 7.7 MB/s. The onboard bus master DMA controller ensures that there are no microprocessor interruptions in data transfer.

  • GPIB-USB-HS: The GPIB-USB-HS is an IEEE 488 controller device for computers with USB slots. The GPIB-USB-HS achieves maximum IEEE 488.2 performance. With no GPIB cable required for instrument connection, engineers can use the Hi-Speed USB port to control up to 14 programmable GPIB instruments. This device is completely IEEE 488.2 compatible. The device includes a license for the NI-488.2 driver software, providing maximum reliability for connecting to third-party instruments with GPIB.

"We are excited to partner with NI at Electronica China," said Eveline Shi, Marketing Manager, Greater China at element14. "By collaborating with NI, we provide our customers with the tools they need to succeed in their design journey. We look forward to showcasing NI's latest products and connecting with industry professionals.”

For more information on NI and its latest products and services, engineers are encouraged to visit element14's stand at Hall 7.2 E110 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from July 11-13, 2023.
