Raspberry Pi Professional Expert Day in France shows increasing interest in use for the Raspberry Pi for professional applications

Farnell element14, the Development Distributor, is hosting a day for Raspberry Pi experts in France on the 27th September 2018. The event will take place at Bel Air Camp in Lyon (Villeurbanne) and will focus on professional and industrial applications of the Raspberry Pi single-board computer.

The event, which is organised with the support of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, will feature presentations from customers who have developed Raspberry Pi based solutions in different sectors including AirNodes, the design house who designed and manufactured the Anna Smart Mirror; Pi lighting, Engineering consulting company for Led designs; and Fieldcloud who designed a Raspberry Pi gateway for industrial applications; Invethys, a design office including a KNX home automation control for luxury hotels and Brainboxes; one of the leaders in the development and manufacture of communication tools.

The event will also include a presentation by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. There will be Raspberry Pi demos and accessories on display, and the opportunity to talk to experts about bespoke services from Farnell elemnt14 including customisation. The day will end with networking drinks allowing attendees to create partnerships, network, and discuss their projects and ideas.
