element14 Community is co-hosting a webinar with KEMET to give design engineers an overview of RF and RF applications before looking into ceramic RF capacitors. Attendees who ask the best questions will win a free RF and Microwave Ceramic kit from KEMET.

Radio Frequency devices are used frequently in our daily lives as everything shifts toward wireless functionality. In this design space, engineers now must use RF capacitors to achieve higher frequency bands. Through the webinar, you will learn the basics of an RF capacitor and what characteristics are important when designing with these capacitors.

The webinar, “A Deeper Look into Ceramic RF Capacitors,” will take place on Wednesday, October 26, at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT.

“With the increasing use of Radio Frequency devices in our daily lives, especially as everything moves towards requiring wireless functionality,” said Dianne Kibbey, Global Head of Community and Social Media for element14. “We’re thrilled to partner with KEMET and offer design engineers a deeper understanding of RF capacitors.”

What you will learn by attending:

  • What is RF?
  • RF Applications
  • Ceramic Capacitor Basics
  • What are RF Capacitors?
  • KEMET HiQ-CBR Series
  • Characterization and E2Di

Following the presentation, there will be a short quiz to test your knowledge. Complete the quiz and watch the presentation either live or On Demand to earn a certificate. If you attend and demonstrate what you have learned, your certificate will be emailed to you.

The webinar will feature Jake Michels, Technical Marketing Engineer at KEMET Electronics Corp. Michels builds technical material for electrical engineers in design. In his current role, he works with various product groups to create learning material on a wide variety of topics. He spends his off time building various DIY projects and camping.
